Description: Estate find...neat book written by Lieutenant Commander Griffith Baily Coale, U.S.N.R. in 1942. This book was pretty cool project. Coale kept a good log of his adventures during the North Atlantic Patrol, prior to US entering the war. He was a skilled artist and was one of the men who was tasted with the job of recoring the events of the day through art. The book has many pictures of his oil paintings and pastels. The dust jacket is ripped in several places, it is aged but still remains on the hardcover. There is a dedication on the inside cover, I don't know much. Please use the photos to guide you towards an opinion on the book. Thank you. Please see photos for better descriptions. Most items are vintage and sold "as is". I do my best to describe any imperfections, and try to photograph flaws to ensure confidence in the decision process. I combine shipping when possible. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
