Description: WW2 Canteen Cover Condition: Great, with no holes, tears, or frays, but portions of the lining are missing and ripped. The initials"C/M. are written on the back and the letter "C" has been stitched on the left flap. "G-1315" is stamped on the bottom. All hardware is present and in good working order. Given the wear, stamping and personalization, it was almost certainly used in combat and has that "been there" look! This cover is marked and dated on the inside left flap and it appears to be 1943 (although it's still difficult to tell for sure). These early war covers make great additions to collections, so don't miss out on this one!!
