WW1 ORIGINAL M1915 PRUSSIAN ENLISTED MAN UHLAN TSCHAPKA SPIKE HELMET PICKELHAUBE

Description: Up for auction is a MODEL 1915 PRUSSIAN ENLISTED MAN ULANEN TSCHAPKAUlanen helmets followed the 1915 regulations and utilized grey oxidized steel fittings. Helmet body has no crazing, yes no crazing, you can see from the photos. Also there are no extra holes on the body. Front visor is firmly attached via the front visor folddown method. M91 sideposts are of grey metal fittings. Heraldic eagle plate is the correct small size version for Tschapka. Wappen is secured to the helmet body via loops and original wedges. No extra holes behind the wappen. As there is no mortar board, the bayonet-style lug for the top which is similar to the pattern utilized to secure the Infantry removable spike is exposed.Interior has tan leather flat tab liner as is normal with Uhlan helmets. The liner in this example is supple but there is tear along the edge (please see pics). No damage to the liner fingers though. Drawstring is still present. Reproduction chinstrap.
