Description: Wonderful Antique DUTCH Embossed and Ornately Decorated Silver Storage Box, Nice & Original. Hello All, I have this old ornate Silver Box that I'm trying to determine what the hallmark punches mean to help figure out its value. There are 5 hallmarks, and in the past, a helpful gentleman with a reference book figured out 3 of them. I don't remember which 3 that was. They were 1. The box was made in 1848, 2. It was made in the Netherlands, and 3. It's at least 83.3% Silver. I would like to figure out the meaning of the other 2 hallmarks, but it could be difficult to decipher them from what is visible. The box weighs 909 grams.
