VTG Nemadji Shoulder Pot Vase Buff Clay, Brown, Red, Green Paints 1949-1969.

Description: This piece of history was made between 1949-1969. Its shape and colors are buff, light- yellow clay, with swirls of turquoise/teal, orange/red, black, and brown paints. It is a perfect mold-ware piece that became unique with the hand-dipped painting strategy of the artisan. It does not have the Nemadji stamp. Here are some details about this unique piece: Nemadji Pottery is made from Badlands clay that was melted from the glacier ice-age (250,000 years ago). The color combinations and swirls allow no two pieces to be alike. The interior had a shellac wash which had tiny chips on the top of the shellac. Condition: Some cosmetic wear noted on this preowned piece, as would be as expected with vintage items. Comes from a smoke-free, pet-friendly home. When buying vintage items, please expect minor evidence of use, or from age. I take many photos of my items to assist with the description. Please refer to the photos to judge the condition.
