Description: Vintage Dresden plate quilt in 18" blocks of white. The plate is made up of 16 petals with a small pink doily at the center. The plate (or flower) is right at 11.5" wide. The doily about 3". The blocks are intersected with a pink cotton. Measures right at 76x93". The backside is white. The petal fabrics look 80's to me as I did a lot of sewing for a teenager during that time and these fabrics look like a lot of outfits I made back then. It appears that the petals of the plate were machine stitched with the quilting being done by hand as the stitches are uneven. THERE ARE presumed CIGARETTE burns on the quilt. I've a couple close ups showing the issue. Some burned through Someone's grandmother would be deeply saddened! Except for the burns the quilt is gorgeous and could be used as a stacker, or a possible cutter. Gently laundered and line dried in the Oklahoma sunshine.
