Description: This vintage Salad Plate from Fitz and Floyd features a beautiful Cloisonne Peony pattern in multicolor with gold accents on a black background. The pattern called Cloisonne Peony Black was retired in 1996. Production by Fitz and Floyd ran from 1984 to 1996. This pattern was retired in 1996. This plate has beautiful hand painted gold accents around the rim as pictured. The plate has a diameter of 7-1/2" and a height of 3/4". This salad plate is made of fine porcelain and was manufactured in Japan during the late 20th century. On the bottom of the plate in the center is the maker's mark, which includes the pattern name and design date and is painted in gold. The maker's mark reads: ""Cloisonne Peony", FITZ AND FLOYD, INC, c MCMLXXIX Japan FF 7.5". This plate is in mint condition without any damage or signs or use.
