Description: The vintage hand carved setter, a champion of his breed, looks ready for any adventure that comes his way. He's 8" long from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail, 5.5" high at the top of his head and 2" wide. The anonymous carver has used incised lines to show the silky waves and feathers of the dog's coat. A shellac or lacquer finish deepened the natural color of the wood to a reddish brown.
