Description: This beautiful Christian Biblical print No. 267 is entitled "Washing the Disciples' Feet" with Jesus and his disciples. It is a litho poster print circa 1950's printed in the USA. It is in great vintage condition with amazing colors and details. The image measures 8 1/4" x 10" and is 8 1/2" x 11 1/2" including the border. I was excited to purchase an entire collection of these type of religious prints by various artists at an estate sale. The name of the former collector is on the back. This print has the name O. Stemler in the corner who recreated many of the early engravings and lithos from the 1800's into color images. These large poster prints show the beauty and detail of Stemler's work. His Christian biblical images were very popular during the 1900's and were used in many Sunday Schools and church classes. I just love the soft beautiful vintage colors done on the heavier paper and this one is ready for framing to be enjoyed again. Please check out my other vintage treasures and Biblical prints.
