Description: Vintage 60s Flying Coveralls Orange Flight Suit CWU 1/P USAF Military Aviation Pilot Own a piece of history with these wonderful vintage 1960 flying coveralls! This style was originally worn by USAF pilots during the Vietnam War. The bright orange flight suit is made of high-quality materials and features the classic CWU 1/P Mil-C-25786A design with lining and multiple zip pockets. Head liner still intact inside the collar (access via zipper)! Although we're not professionals, we believe this suit to be new in it's original package with tag although there are some minor flaws. We try to be overly thorough in our descriptions! Please review the photos and don't hesitate to ask for more if you need them! Why we think it's new: We purchased it in a sealed bag with tag shown, although the bag had begun to dryrot and tear so we got it out for photos and inspection.There is no sign of wear at all. It appears to us that it has never been worn.Leather Zipper Pulls are in near perfect shape and look untouched (no indication that skin oil has been on them before).Snaps do not appear to have been used before and most are in pristine condition. Minor Flaws most likely due to long term storage in high heat (Louisiana): Collars have slight discoloration (not very noticeable). One snap has slight paint flaking.Two small areas of fabric have round discoloration (you can tell it's from a snap).One small dot on the back of a leg. Unsure how this could have gotten there.
