Description: For sale is this vintage True Temper double bit axe, weighing 4lbs.15.1oz. overall, with handle. Signed "True Temper Flint Edge Kelly Works", the head measures 10" long, with excellent 4-1/4" wide edges, with a beautiful sound and solid 34-9/16" long replacement handle, nicely hafted, as pictured. The edges are excellent, ground by a previous owner, as pictured, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The handle has a slightly chipped out area, as shown in the last picture, but can be sanded and blended in. Please view all of the pictures to determine condition for yourself.
