Description: Vintage Westminster Fine Bone China Australia #235 Cup and Saucer Westminster Fine China Australia was started in Melbourne in 1954 by Stanley Rogers and Son Ltd. The Abbey backstamp on this duo was used between 1954 - 1962. The pattern number #235 dates from the late 1950's. (see: westminsterchinaoz.weebly.com/markings.html) This could be called a tennis set as the saucer it larger than the more traditional saucers. The gold trim probably 22crt gold. There are three duo's available - only two have the sticker for 22crt gold. Size: Saucer: 14.5cm at widest, Cup: 5cm deep and 9cm top rim diameter.
