Vintage West Germany Mercury Glass Santa Heart Christmas Ornament 2.75"

Description: This is a really cool vintage mercury glass Christmas ornament made in West Germany. It is 2.75 inches not including the cap. It is a heart with radiating designs and a Santa Claus face in the center. There is some very light gold paint on the left side of the Santa and it's not as bright on the right side. The back of the ornament has some darkened areas as shown in the pictures. I'm not exactly sure what causes that in vintage mercury glass ornaments, but I wanted to make sure that you see it because I'm a fanatic about condition. There are also 2 tiny areas on Santa's beard where the white textured paint material is missing. It can be clearly seen in the pictures. It's a neat old ornament! I apologize for all of the reflections in the photos. I'm downsizing and am happy that ornaments that I have enjoyed for sooooo many years will go to new homes where they can be appreciated and cherished by someone else. Smoke free home. No odors.
