Description: Vintage Triangular Western German Embroidered Coin Purse, Brass Clasp Vintage black sturdy fabric triangular coin purse with decorative floral embroidered details. Coin purse has a unique design with a coin mounted snap attached to a ring which keeps the brass bars held together. When unsnapped and slid up the bars are released and the coin purse opens wide for the access to the contents. There is a tag inside the purse labeled "Western Germany". There is a leather strap at the top for carrying. Item is in excellent vintage condition with minimal wear, inside of coin purse does not have any stains. Snap closure is secure. I searched for similar items of the same design but only found modern ones in leather made in Italy (very pricey). I found this in my mother's belongings. She loves anything antique and beautiful. I know she owned this for over 40 years. Beautiful, unique beaded pieces.
