Description: Vintage Smith & Wesson Stewart A. Taylor SW-550 First Production Run Knife, Made in the USA 5in frame with 3-1/2in blade. Blade has thumb assist. Anodized text on blade "First Production Run Model #550 USA". Tang is stamped with "Smith & Wesson" on one side and "Designed by Stewart A. Taylor" on the other. Lower half of blade is serrated. There is some tape residue on the back side of the blade from an old price sticker. Black Zytel scales with "Smith & Wesson" and their logo on each side. Comes with knife and original box. Box is age worn. This knife has never been carried, used, or sharpened. It still has a very sharp factory edge. It was part of a family collection and has been sitting in box for decades.
