The item is hand painted on Celluloid (a synthetic hard plastic that was widely used in France in the 1800's). This item measures approx. 3 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" high.There is writing on the front bottom but it is very worn and difficult to make out. The item is vintage and has age, wear, and imperfections.
