Description: Three Pyrex mixing bowls in the Friendship pattern. Included are the 401 (1 1/2 pint), 402 (1 1/2 quart) and 403 (2 1/2 quart). The 403 is in excellent condition, no chips and no paint loss to the pattern. The 402 is in very good condition, no paint loss, a few light scratches that can be seen when held to the light. There is a shallow 1/4" chip on the top rim that can be felt but hard to photograph as it is small and very smooth. The 401 has paint loss to the yellow daisies, for some reason this design was known for this defect, see other listings showing similar condition. I believe Pyrex reintroduced the 402 later in an updated pattern that was not prone to this paint loss. The red birds however do not show any paint loss, they are still bright.
