Antonio Sotomayor (1902–1985) nicknamed San Francisco's 'Artist Laureate', was a painter and muralistwho worked extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area. His public works included murals for the Palace Hoteland the Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island, 1939–1940.
