Vintage Mercury Dime Necklace aka Winged Liberty Head Dime

Description: Vintage Mercury Dime made into pendant. This is also known as the Winged Liberty dime.This is a 1943 dime that has been expertly made into a pendant. Note how the letters LIBERTY have been carefully done to give the dime an open center. This was done by the U.S. Gov. Treasury, probably Philadelphia branch. The dime still has the ridges on the outside edge. The opposite side shows part of the statue of liberty torch.This dime is coin silver and measures approx. 3/4" in diameter.The chain measures about 18" in length is NOT marked sterling.Please check out all the pictures provided carefully as they are part of the description and show the item and its condition.
