Description: Offering for your consideration is this Vintage 1992 Dealer Display Fan-Shaped Plaque/Sign from the MHB (Maud Humphrey Bogart) Collection introduced by Hamilton Gifts, Ltd in 1992. Maud Humphrey Bogart (1865-1940) was a well-known American commercial artist, illustrator, water colorist and mother of actor Humphrey Bogart. All sculptures included in the MHB collection were meticulously created in either cold cast resin or porcelain bisque based upon Ms. Bogart's' water-color illustrations. The detailing in these pieces is fantastic and mirrors the corresponding art illustrations. The collection was retired in 1994. This Victorian Ladies Fan-Shaped Plaque is adorned with a tasseled ribbon tied at the bottom of a heart shaped vine amid the tiny flowers at the base of the fan. I believe that the material is porcelain bisque although it is very light weight. These display plaques are much harder to find than the figurines. They were designed to advertise the sculptures in the dealer display case and are a great accessory to any MHB Collection. This piece measures approximately 3" H x 4" wide x 1.25" deep. This beautifully detailed painted piece is clean, free of stains, nicks, chips, paint loss / wear, cracks, or repair. Note: I am always happy to combine shipping.
