Description: This sale is for a vintage hardcover book titled The Grocery Man and Peck's Bad Boy or Peck's Bad Boy and His Pa No. 2 by George W. Peck. It was published by Belford, Clarke & Co., copyrighted in 1883, is illustrated and is a first edition. It is approximately 5 1/4" wide x 7 1/4" high x 1 1/4" deep. This book is in good condition for its age, and it is very dusty but there is no musty smell. The top and bottom of the binding are bent, the title page has a 1/2" tear at the midpoint of the page, cover interiors and all the pages have discoloration, and some pages are loose from the binding. All outer corners are bent inward. All these conditions are shown in the photographs. The book comes from a pet and smoke-free home.
