The quilt features the Buckeye Beauty pattern in a 4 patch design, made with vintage cotton fabrics of 2 1/2” squares. The 7” blue diamonds are made from 4 half square triangles and the 3 1/2” blue border are lovely. BTW, the pictures depict the blues brighter than they are. The close-up picture of blue is more accurate. Picture #8. FYI The blue diamonds point in on a Jacobs ladder pattern and point out on the buckeye beauty. Pattern originated in 1929 according to one website. Measuring 78” in length and 67” in width, this quilt is perfect for a full-sized bed. The quilt is hand quilted and the quilting is excellent. The tiny stitches are super straight and 7 stitches per inch. A master quilter indeed! A soft loved vintage quilt that adds character and charm to any room. The multicolor design is eye-catching and sure to impress. This one-of-a-kind quilt is perfect for collectors or those looking for a statement piece. The background fabric on front as well as the backing and binding are white so it’s easy to see this is a super clean quilt. There is one faded spot on front where it looks like something sat on it for a minute. I think it should wash out with a gentle spot cleaning. See last picture. I believe this quilt was made between 1929 and 1949. A real American treasure. 022124
