Description: Beautiful pair of old torchieres that are height adjusting, great heavy cast glass shades with no damage, and lighting bases. These will adjust up to 65" to the top rim of the shades and a low setting of 47 1/2" and secure anywhere between. The quality glass shades are 12" in diameter. The glass has a nice paneled design with a pretty brass filigree band around the top. The bases also light and use a very low wattage bulb that illuminates through a decorative brass screen and on the floor around the base. This is operated by a toggle switch on each base. These lamps have 3 way switches and mogul sockets. No bulbs are included. The finish is a dark bronze tone plating in excellent condition. The supporting shafts are reeded and the footed ornate base with rising decorative ornament are beautifully done. Great pair of lamps. Please see all of the photos to determine the condition.
