Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Vintage Electro Voice Model 502 line matching transformer. Used for connecting Low-Z microphones to Hi-Z electronics inputs. I acquired these around 1965 and I never used them. (I ended up getting a tape recorder with Low Z Mic inputs) They are in mint cosmetic condition, and have been lounging around my pack-rat heaven without paying rent ever since. Wiring is straight forward, see pic 5. The 4 center terminals are for the mic and pair wise labeled for the 4 available impedance settings. The outer terminal (Unlabeled) is for the mic cable shield. Frequency Response 40 Hz to 20 KHZ Low Z side Input Impedance selectable to: 50, 150, 250, or 500 Ohms Output impedance 40k ohms This item currently resides in my Pak-Rat heaven and needs to find a new home.
