Description: Vintage Custom Keith Lippy Road Bike Frame. 56cm. Joe Bell Paint. I’m the second owner of this and I’ve had it probably 12 years and rode it maybe two dozen times. I’ve had a few Keith Lippy’s, I really like his bikes but time to set this one free. It’s 56cm center to center and a 56.5cm top tube. The rear spacing is standard 130mm and true. The KL on the head tube is 3 dimensional and brazed in place and then gold leafed. Not sure why it doesn’t have down tube decals, the Joe Bell decal is under clear so a Keith Lippy decal should have been as well, my assumption is the previous owner got this painted by Joe Bell and didn’t bother having the down tube decal reproduced. There was a while there when Keith wasn’t building so maybe he couldn’t get decals at that moment in time. I was the owner of Velo Cult bike shop in San Diego and Portland and my shops all seeing eye logo on the top tube is covering a chip in the paint. There’s a few chips in the paint but overall it’s not bad for a vintage bike. There are no dents and it rides great.
