Description: c. 1940s Vintage chrome-plated smoking stand lamp with figural airplane topper. Where do we begin? This piece features a fairly detailed airplane on top of its central stem. Just below this is a tray that features two ash receptacles, a match safe, and MICO electric lighter (wire has been clipped). However, the most unique and eye-catching feature is the lower lamp, attached to the rounded base. The lamp appears to be made of a marbled glass that boasts tan and golden swirls, almost reminiscent of slag glass. Exhibits minor signs of wear including tarnish and the aforementioned snipped electric lighter.
