vintage CASE Mini Trapper Freemasonry knife B6207 SS, USA 1998—never used

Description: Offered for your consideration is a vintage CASE Mini Trapper pattern # B6207 SS two-blade folding knife, USA-manufactured in 1998 (per the 1993-99 dating format, a five-dot code is on one blade's tang). This “A Salute to Freemasonry” knife is a Limited Edition Commemorative and bears a fairly low serial number, 2782. It comes complete in its original early cardboard display box with formed insert and owner’s papers, as pictured. This knife has never been put to use. Doted upon and handled, probably, but never used. The reason I chose the “used” condition descriptor is because nothing that is some 27 years old can rightly be called “new,” and those are the only two options that eBay provides for this listing category. So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this splendid CASE Freemasonry collectable knife should be yours. Since it has never been used, this CASE Mini Trapper knife is in very clean, perfect condition. It measures 3.5” closed and features two stainless steel blades, clip and spey. The blades are 2.7” and 2.75” long, respectively, as shown on the CASE website for pattern 6207. The handle is made from real bovine bone that’s “jigged,” finished in blue, and features an important Freemasonry symbol—the letter G within a square and compass—on one side. And, the phrase “In Search of More Light” is imprinted on one side of the clip blade. Regarding the pattern number, B6207 SS, 6 is for jigged bone handle (B is blue), 2 is the number of blades, 07 is Mini Trapper, and SS means stainless steel blades. The model number, 1051, is only relevant in terms of the many variations made under a popular pattern like 6207 and is not imprinted on the knife. If it wasn’t shown on the CoA, I wouldn’t even know about it. So, if you are a fan of American quality CASE knives or you’re a Freemason, perhaps both, then you’ve really found the right listing!
