Vintage Barbie Kimono and Skirt by Halina's Doll Fashions of Chicago

Description: Blue pattern brocaded Kimono with red satin lining, red attached obi belt and red satin skirt. Doll not included.Halina Nashan made custom fashion doll clothing for high end department stores in Chicago in the 1960's. This Kimono and skirt is vintage, rare, and handmade fashion for Halina's Barbie couture line. The exterior beautiful blue silk brocade with flower stitching has held it's color and sheen. The red satin interior lining is in pristine condition, with no rips or tears. The exterior coat has some frays and signs of play or wear. The satin neck wrap has frayed ends, I'm not sure if this is from play or original design, but is firmly attached. The red silk obi belt wrap color is pristine and firmly attached. The clasp on the obi belt wrap is in need of some stitching around the clasp. The red satin skirt has a beautiful sheen, no stains. The seam on the back of the skirt has begun to unravel at the elastic waste down about an inch and a half down the seam, not ripped fabric but will need to be restitched.
