Description: Vintage 80’s Ivory Wedding Gown With Matching Veil Petite Small Size Victorian Beautiful wedding dress from the 1980s. First photo shows bride in the gown…they are happily married today, so this dress will bring the new bride luck for the years to come. It has been boxed with a piece of papers indicating that it has been in a Keystone Wedding Gown Storage Chest (aka gold box) that featured an acid free chamber. I would say the the fabric has not yellowed and is still a pretty ivory (not bright white) color. There is a smudge on the left sleeve (right in photo) that may not have been able to be dry cleaned out before it was stored. The dress is in good condition. Other than the smudge on the sleeve (see photo), the only other flaw that I find is the ribbon bow at the waistline; it has come I sewn and can easily be repaired. The length of the gown, measuring from the easy to find waist seam is approx 44” inches the front. The back, measuring the train, is approx 72”, also measuring from the back waistline. The bride was petite, both in height and size. See photos for approximate measurements of waist and bust. Then veil is a healllaced and beaded headband with the longest piece (in the back), measuring approx 46”. It’s in good, clean condition as well. Veils just do not photo graph well without looking like a hot mess of tulle and lace. This is a traditional style, with a face covering that can be brought to the front and then flipped to the back. It has a pretty lace trimmed edge in the longes piece of tulle. The gold storage box is not in good condition, so the dress will not be shipped with it.
