Description: Offered for sale is this GORGEOUS rose carved Bakelite bracelet!! It does have a couple of small condition issues and priced accordingly.The bracelet is 7/8" wide, has a thick domed shape and is a dark forest green color with cream colored marbling. It has a 2.5" interior diameter; and weighs a chunky 50 grams. The bracelet has been decorated with four beautiful rose bloom carvings that are evenly spaced around the outside of the bracelet. Leaf carvings are found on each side of the rose designs. This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in good vintage condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) Two small chips were noted to the petals of the rose carvings (See photo #4) and there are a couple of instances of overcarving where the artist's carving work carried over to the inside edge of the bracelet. The overcarving is not visible when the bracelet is being worn. No other chips or cracks to the bracelet were noted.
