Vintage 1995 Washburn Cumberland JS28SC Jumbo Acoustic Guitar (Spruce Top)

Description: ITEM: This 1995 MIK Washburn Cumberland Jumbo Model #J28SC acoustic guitar packs a loud punch with its spruce top with bound mahogany sides. This guitar is large, loud, and proud with plenty of visual beauty to back up the tone. The mahogany neck has 20 frets on a rosewood fingerboard and is fully bound all over. The abalone crown inlays on the board and glossy finish on the headstock round out the full picture with a single cutaway body and rosewood butterfly bridge with bone. If we manage to procure an acceptable hard case or even a decent padded gig bag we will certainly include that w this axe at no extra cost to the eventual buyer. This instrument was professionally inspected, repaired if necessary & given a pro set-up by one of our favorite luthiers/guitarist/composer/teacher & fantastic all around human being as well as the co-founder of April Mae & The Junebugs, Dave "Catfish" Fecca of Dave Fecca Guitar Repair located in Moorestown, NJ...so this axe is ready to rip! CONDITION: This guitar is in very good condition, in our opinion. Our luthier gave this a full pro set-up, and buffed and oiled any imperfections on the body and fingerboard. All hardware was inspected, oiled, and tightened as needed. The action and intonation were set. Cosmetically, there are a few dings and blemishes on the top and sides of the guitar and there is one lone weather checking crack on the top of the guitar as seen in the one closeup but it is NOT through the spruce top. None of these affect playability and all have been inspected and treated by our luthier to ensure years of enjoyment. This guitar does not come with a case. DIMENSIONS: Body is approximately 42" long x 17" wide x 4 1/8" deep; scale length is 24 3/4"; fingerboard is 1 3/4" wide at the 1st fret, 2" wide at the 12th fret, & 2 1/4" wide at the 17th fret. Nut is 1.625” wide. Guitar weighs in at 5 lbs, 3 oz. NOTES: This instrument is ready to play in any capacity the player wishes. This instrument would give a great deal of pleasure to a collector, a player, or a professional.
