The blades show no signs of having ever been sharpened and still retain the factory edge, but they do have minor scratches showing some use; the spear blade has about half-a-dozen nicks out toward the tip; the pen blade has two or three spots that are wanting to start. The Stainless Steel frame shows minor scratches from use. The scissors work perfectly.
