Description: Fabulous fifty's fit and flare dress. No labels to indicate maker or fabric content. It was probably handmade but very well done. The outer fabric is a sheer fine mesh in white/off white. The bodice is shirred with varying shades of pink along the top. The bright pink continues to a long sash/scarf shown over the shoulder. You could do different things with it like a pretty pin that you could pin in the front or back. The full skirt has 3 fabric layers. The lining fabric is a cream satin. The center has a heavy stiff tulle layer. The fine mesh outer layer. Drop waist. Stays in the bodice in front and back. Back metal zipper works well. It's in very good condition for it's age but has a couple fabric issues. The outer layer of the skirt has some small tears in one area on the right side (last photo) hard to see with the fullness of the skirt. The lining has a small hole in the back around the hip area (next to last photo) Can see from the outside. Shown on a size 2 mannequin. It has a little bit of extra room so listing as a 3. It measures 38" long from under the arms, 30" from the natural waist. Laying flat seam to seam it's 16" across under the arms, 12 1/2" at the waist. I ship same or next business day.
