Vietnam War Era Stock Shroud Standard Issue Rifle FAIR Condition USGI

Description: Original Type Delta Shroud, Vietnam Era U.S. Army Issue Good Service Grade Condition Up for your consideration are original (NOT a reproduction) FAIR Condition shrouds. These are in FAIR service grade Condition, which is as follows: No bulges, will be small dents and/or scratches. May or may not have small cracks by the sling swivel area and/or sides; these will be properly filled in as to add structural integrity. There may be some discoloration or mottling but this is due to age and use in service. Looks great with natural patina; again, does not affect structural integrity whatsoever. You can choose to leave as is or refinish. May also have stickers, tape numbers etc. Might need some cleaning upon arrival; looks great. The rubber buttpads look good (webbing/cracking may be present but for the most part will have smooth rubber that is in Good condition, especially for being over 60 years old; also may have some rubber material missing from bottom of butt pad due to impact on ground or other surfaces. These cracks and webbing can be filled in easily) and swivel stud looks good (not rusted)! Hardware like sling swivel stud will be cleaned; might show signs of pitting, but all will be in perfect working order. Sling swivel (loop and rivet or roll pin) may need to be replaced . Does NOT include the original top screw with drain hole; those can be purchased separately on this site as well. Listing price is for ONE shroud. The shroud you will receive will look similar to the ones pictured. This is NOT a reproduction. This is the real thing, and would be perfect for your clone (or original). These are getting increasingly difficult to find in this condition. Most surplus service used shrouds found are in rough condition and need a ton of work (and for the same price as these!).
