Still presents well This is a North Vietnamese Army (NVA) campaign badge for the Tet Offensive in 1968. Awarded to NVA personnel who participated in or supported the Tet Offensive. Features: Depicts two soldiers raising a flag on a mountaintop, with the text "Chien Thang" (meaning "Victory") at the top. Significance: The Tet Offensive was a major military campaign launched by the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong during the lunar new year (Tet) holiday in 1968. While it was a military defeat for the North, it was a major turning point in the war, as it exposed the weakness of the South Vietnamese government and eroded American public support for the war.
