Description: Hard to find Mickey 1950's Line Mar colorful Mickey wind-up toy. Line Mar was considered one of Japan's finest toy makers. This was especially true of the litho tin toy with special characters like this Mickey. When Mickey is wound up, he does a turnaround bounce dance while his tail quickly twirls round and round. I wish that I could show you video of it, but for some reason the process has changed and I can't figure it out. My apologies. The mechanism works very well though.This charming toy is in excellent condition. It was bought from a lifelong collection of a gentleman that seemed to have been very choosy and meticulous about his collection. There may be some slight discoloration around Mickey's nose. And I thought that his pants were faded some because they looked kind of streaky. But, after looking at the other few examples that I found that had been sold at auction, it appears to be part of the design. This little guy is 5 1/2 inches of fun!
