Very RARE Kammer & Reinhardt cloth stockinette, German K *R 1920s character doll

Description: We're delighted of offer this very hard to find, circa 1920s, German Professor, caricature doll figure produced by the famous Kammer & Reinhardt (K * R) doll factory (better known for their bisque head dolls) and *shown in their 1926 catalogue of numerous occupational character doll figures. He stands, 13" tall and has a stockinette cloth covered, strong wire armature (which allows for various poses) and flat soled, signed: Made in Germany feet with painted black shoes. He has a rather concerned expression with well molded and painted features including worried eyes, eyelids, wire rimmed eyeglasses, grey eyebrows, prominent nose and lips beneath his matching grey mustache. His head is covered by his tan hat with black band and grey yarn hair which matches his mustache and beard. He has good cheek blush and wears all his original clothing including tan felt trousers and long black felt coat with buttons and collar, shirt and big black bow tie. He holds a large portfolio envelope under one arm and is in very good overall condition with no holes, damages or repairs and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. (loc.
