Description: A very unusual Chinese eating Trouse with brass mounted, fitted.metal scabbard and Jade hilt. The scabbard has the original attachment rings. There is a pair of fitted chop sticks and the hilt of the knife is Jade with a silver collar.The uncleaned blade has a fuller on each side and tapers to a spear point. It shows wear from use and age along spotting on the metal with small areas of pitting and rust as shown.The nicely crafted jade hilt is in good, used condition with no breaks or chips.This piece was field collected in China in the 1980's and due to the unusual nature of construction we have always assumed that it is Chinese rather than MongolianOverall length 12 1/2"jade hilt 5 1/2"blade 6 1/4"
