I crocheted this cardigan using a vintage pattern, from the 1940s I believe. It is size 18 months, and it is loose fitting so that it can be worn over a dress or top. The cardigan has a 24” chest, 4 1/2” short sleeves, and an armhole depth of 4”. It ties in front with a satin ribbon. I made this with a beautiful soft yarn that, although acrylic, has a nice sheen like mercerized cotton. Washing instructions: Machine wash in lukewarm water on delicate cycle (ideally in a lingerie bag); dry on lowest setting and remove promptly. (The yarn is 80% acrylic and 20% nylon.) Photos were taken with and without the flash. Please note that monitors may show colors differently, and my camera had trouble capturing the exact color. This cardigan is a bright deep turquoise.
