Description: In commemoration of the upcoming 60th anniversary on 11/22/2023 of President John F. Kennedy's assassination in Dallas on November 22nd, 1963, we are listing several JFK paper items of possible interest to collectors. This is a really cool John Kennedy commemorative paper hand-out or mini poster because there's a big, 4.5" watermark in the center of the paper saying, "International Brotherhood of Paper Makers." So, it's obviously a labor union related election item. The piece is 8.5" x 5.5" so would look good framed, but you might keep the watermark from being seen if you do that. We think that really needs to be able to be seen. The soonest November 2 election after JFK was killed was in 1976 between Ford and Carter so this is likely from then. The 1960 election pitted democrats Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson against republicans Richard M. Nixon and Henry C. Lodge. When the results came in it was so close that it was basically a tie, with JFK at 49.72% to Nixon's 49.55%. Even with all the voting irregularities surrounding the totals across the country, Nixon decided not to challenge the election and conceded the following afternoon. Think how history could have been dramatically changed if Nixon had challenged and then prevailed. No Dallas tragedy, exactly 60 years ago, and also no Watergate. This is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge things for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases even though eBay claims we don't. We just issue a refund for any overpayment. Shipping on this will be $5.50 with tracking. 8076
