Miller and Richard E. Sharpless. This book appears to include some history on coal mining in Pennsylvania. Along with the text is a number of black & white photographs and illustrations. Overall, the book looks in good shape. The pages appear to be fairly clean, and I don't spot any extra writing inside the book (some pages show some minor creasing). The cover shows some signs of general wear, including some scratches on the front and back, as well some outer spine wear and several areas of creasing and smudges.
