Afterwards, Lee took his victorious Army of Northern Virginia on its first invasion of the North. In this game the battle of Seocnd Manassas is fetured. It begins with Lee's army cut in two by the Union (Jackson's Wing was isolated.) The battle develops with the two wings of Lee's army fighting desperately to link up. Pope, the Union commander, found himself caught between the jaws of a vice grip and, historically, failed to hold them apart. It is the game player's job to do better...
