Binding and hinges are tight; the spine is strong and has separated from the cover - all pages are firmly attached (a thick book). The cover has light fading, rubbing on corners, and crushing on bottom spine edges. The dust jacket has significant wear and remains intact with several edge chips, one 1" tear, toning, and shelving/ handling wear.
