Description: This is a 1971 Harper & Row First US Edition of Sylvia Plath's posthumous novel, The Bell Jar. This is a stated first edition, and a first printing, and it has the $6.95 price point. See photos for the copyright page, page 296, and the flaps. If there any additional photos you'd like, just send me a message! As the photos indicate, this is not a perfect copy, as the dust jacket is torn/worn; the interior is nearly clean, though there are a couple of pages with some slight staining, and two (quite faint) pieces of writing in pencil, including on page 296, where the print-run number would be. (See photo). Underneath the dust jacket, there is some slight damage on the bottom right. That is to say, this isn't pristine, but it's still one heckuva fun addition to one's collection. It's a pretty special book!
