Description: This brightly painted set of two - a sun and star - are done in a modified Talavera style. The sun is 6" across and 1"deep. The star is 8" across and 2" deep. They are painted (by me) with non toxic paints in a very deep purple with the front covered with an assortment of designs. Light green, turquoise, pink and purple lines, dots and swirls are on the sun and star fronts. Being paper mache, they are incredibly lightweight and could not only be displayed on a shelf, but easily hung on nylon string from the ceiling. They have several coats of non-yellowing sealer and could be displayed outside. BUT, being paper mache, they might not last a long time in the elements. I'm sure they would prefer a covered patio or inside the home.They are made in a smoke-free, pet-free and vape-free workshop. I combine shipping on multiple items. I ship all packages within 2 business days, usually sooner and use either USPS or UPS depending on which is more cost efficient.
