Constructed with heavy-duty steel, the bumper main body is made of an 11-gauge (1/8 inch) plate, and 10-gauge(9/64 in) steel for the mounting bracket, ensuring strength and durability. To enhance its appearance and resistance to corrosion, the bumper is finished with a textured black powder coat. In addition, it undergoes a premium E-coating process on the inside that helps to prevent rust and extends the lifespan of the bumper. Easy, Bolt-on Installation. The rear bumper is specifically designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade replacement for the original stock bumper of your F-150. Install the two mounting brackets utilizing preexisting locations on your truck and place the bumper onto the brackets. It can be set up without drilling using your vehicle’s factory mounting points.
