You only need to decide how you want to secure the box onto your firewall, frame rail, trunk, under vehicle, etc. StreetRays steel battery hold down box for Optima batteries will allow you to secure and install your new Group 34/78 (Red & Yellow Top) battery on any flat surface. It's anywhere you can bolt the tray down, such as trunk, seat pan, side wall, bulk head, floor, frame. And our battery hold down can be installed in car, truck, boats, Side by Side, or any ATV & UTV. Simply bolt the base down with 4 bolts or weld the box into place and drop the battery in the box and bolt the top cover onto the base and done! Fitment Note:This will NOT fit the 34R batteries as they are different from Group 34 batteries.
