(Юбилейная медаль «За доблестный труд в ознаменование 100-летия со дня рождения Владимира Ильича Ленина); instituted on 5 November 1969. Issued in three versions (labour, military or foreigner's version) in two variations (with or without letters LMD denoting Leningrad mint on reverse side of ring). The rarest had only 5000 medals issued to foreigners only (with no lettering at top of reverse). This is the labour version that was awarded to all persons in state service on the occasion of Lenin's 100th Birthday, April 1970. The medal is from my personal collection.
