Sony CDP-705esD Vintage 1987 CD Player with Remote

Description: EXTREMELY RARE Sony CDP-705esD player with original remote. Player powers on and plays discs, but the CD tray doesn't open and close on its own. After decades of sitting in storage, this isn't shocking. So mostly working. Physically/cosmetically in very good condition. Nov 20, 2024: Opened up and tested to see if belts were the issue, and they are.Replaced 1 belt and it now opens and closes, though slowly as it's not a direct replacement for the belt. In the process of this, I accidentally damaged the connector cable to the spinning motor. NO idea what it's called, no idea no to fix it. Added picture of the damaged end. Reducing price.
