If it does float you can soak it in dechlorinated water for a couple hours to work the bubbles out from the material, and it will sink. Material:Printed using Polylactide (PLA), it does not leach chemicals into the water and is derived from fermented plant starches. It is BPA Free and contains no toxic chemicals making it a great choice for your aquarium. Side Note:This shape is fairly hard for a 3D printer to create, and may not yield perfectly straight edges, I do clean up some of the edges, but the imperfection will work to your advantage and create areas for your small critters to hang onto, and for biofilm to deposit and grow enhancing the availability of food for your babies.
